A customer at SPoT! breakfast shop in Norwood, Massachusetts, went viral after security footage showed him tearing apart his bagel sandwich and tossing pieces on the floor — then smacking his food container off the table.
Owner Perry Makarios found the shop littered with bagel remains on June 28 and checked surveillance. “I had to watch it like 12 times to really wrap my head around it,” he told the Boston Globe. The clip shows the middle-aged man chewing with his mouth open and shocking his female dining companion with his behavior.
Makarios said the man seemed unhappy about a slight wait on a busy day, but decided to post the footage to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. “Please if you know this person tell him to learn some manners,” he wrote. The video racked up millions of views.
Former Patriots captain David Andrews commented: “Who would waste a Spot bagel, I’d probably picked it up an ate it.” Makarios says unhappy customers should leave a review — not trash the restaurant.
