 19-Year-Old Anysha Mott Identified as Victim Killed in Osprey Lane Shooting in Victorville; Suspect at Large as Homicide Investigation Continues

VICTORVILLE, CA — A 19-year-old woman shot and killed Sunday morning in Victorville’s Eagle Ranch community has been identified by authorities as local resident Anysha Lashae Mott.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 12000 block of Osprey Lane, near Mesa Linda Avenue, at approximately 11:27 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026, following emergency reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. Local residents reported hearing multiple gunshots echoing through the neighborhood shortly before Mott was discovered lying in the roadway.

Upon arrival, deputies located Mott in the street suffering from several gunshot wounds. Law enforcement personnel immediately initiated life-saving measures on-scene until emergency medical teams arrived. Mott was rushed to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail have assumed control of the active investigation. As forensic teams processed the crime scene Sunday afternoon, authorities closed Osprey Lane in both directions and shut down several intersecting side streets. The Victorville Public Works Department assisted law enforcement with traffic control and road closures throughout the day.

As of now, no arrests have been announced, and officials have not released a description of the suspect or any involved vehicles. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
